An upcoming auction at Analogr in Glendale features a unique item: an original drawing by the late Beatle John Lennon, who had a lifelong love of visual art and often sketched moments from his everyday life. This seems to be his dream life. called Dream 2, shows a monster roaring to the right, flailing and flailing its arms, while a figure likely to be Lennon himself heads for a door on the left. Above the door is a group of heads, presumably representing adoring fans. A note accompanying the drawing is dated 1976. On the back of the drawing, Lennon’s widow, the artist Yoko Ono, wrote: “Love, Yoko Ono 2007″—long after her death in 1980. The drawing is part of an auction by memories of the Beatles. , which features photographs, posters and clothing. The highest bid for Dream 2 it is currently over $20,000, although the reserve has not yet been met. Analogr is hosting a public viewing on Saturday, March 2, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
