Bernard C. Meyers, an American abstract contemporary artist and master printer, is known for his unique exploration of the intersections between photographic realism and abstract expressionism. His work has been featured in gallery, museum, and institutional solo exhibitions, as well as in library and private collections nationwide.

With an MFA from the Rochester Institute of Technology in traditional printmaking, Meyers has honed his craft to create art that evokes a sense of nostalgia and memory. He is particularly interested in images that inspire eidetic memories, such as his father’s hand tools or his grandmother’s kitchen utensils. His work serves as a tribute to the simple tools of the past that have been replaced by modern technology.

One of Meyers’ notable pieces is “Kitchen Scissors,” a 13.25”x20” image printed on 18”x24” Archival Pigment print on Canson Plantine Fibre Rag Paper. This limited edition piece, numbered 1/5, is available for $1800 and is printed and signed by the artist. The piece is a testament to Meyers’ ability to capture the essence of everyday objects and transform them into works of art.

Meyers’ work is characterized by its ability to evoke emotion and provoke thought. His use of color and texture creates a sense of depth and dimension, drawing the viewer into the world he has created. Whether it’s a simple kitchen utensil or a complex abstract composition, Meyers’ work is sure to leave a lasting impression.

In addition to his artistic endeavors, Meyers is also a master printer, which allows him to bring his visions to life in a variety of mediums. His expertise in traditional printmaking techniques adds an extra layer of depth and complexity to his work, making it truly unique.

Overall, Bernard C. Meyers’s ability to capture the essence of everyday objects and transform them into works of art is truly remarkable. Whether you’re a seasoned art enthusiast or simply appreciate beautiful imagery, Meyers’ work is sure to leave a lasting impression.
