Loubna Fazazi Idrissi is a self-taught artist whose life has been deeply intertwined with art. Growing up in a traditional environment that valued learning, she was naturally inclined towards exploring various forms of expression. However, it wasn’t until later in life, amidst personal and professional commitments, that she found her way back to painting. This return to her artistic roots came at a time when she felt a profound need to express herself.

Idrissi’s artistic journey is characterized by her strong emotional connection to her work. Her paintings are not just visual expressions but are imbued with deep emotional vibrations. They are a reflection of her inner world, where she shares and celebrates her emotions and thoughts. Her work is a testament to the power of color in translating these emotions into a visual language.

One of her pieces, “Enchanted Stopover,” is an abstract representation of the emotional rollercoaster we experience during moments of departure, separation, and new beginnings. Through a vibrant palette and dynamic shapes, Idrissi captures the complexity of these emotions with a glimmer of hope.

Departures are depicted with broken lines and dark tones, symbolizing the melancholy and uncertainty that often accompany farewells. Separations are illustrated through striking contrasts between warm and cool colors, representing the duality of feelings that emerge when ties are broken. New horizons are symbolized by bursts of bright colors and fluid patterns, evoking the promise and possibility of a brighter future.

Overall, Idrissi’s work celebrates the richness and variety of human emotions, emphasizing the beauty and poetry that accompany each step of our inner journey. Her paintings are not just visual representations but are windows into the soul, inviting viewers to explore their own emotions and experiences.

Loubna Fazazi Idrissi’s paintings are not just aesthetically pleasing but are profound expressions of human emotions and experiences. Through her art, she invites us to delve into the depths of our own emotions and discover the beauty and complexity of our inner worlds.
